I grew up watching Kenyan businesses — clinics, schools, chamas, retailers — pour money into websites that looked beautiful in the demo but did nothing for their bottom line.
They were sold templates. They were sold “good enough.” They were charged Silicon Valley prices for work that ignored M-Pesa, local payment flows, and the way Kenyan customers actually behave online.
After years building at the highest technical level, I realized the missing piece wasn’t talent — it was execution that understood both the global standard and the local reality. So I founded AngazaDesk to bridge that gap: premium digital work, built in Kenya, for Kenyan businesses that want to compete at the highest level.
